looking for excuses…
I am looking for any excuse to not stay on plan. I weighed this morning and I am still down the four pounds from when I weighed earlier this week. I really have been having some slip ups lately and I have to get back on track. I am going to buy the South Beach book but I am wondering am I using this as an excuse for me to start over on “Monday”. How many monday’s have we had in our lives. Well, I know why I’ve only lost 10 lbs in 3wks is because I need to control the “urge”. People call it cravings but I thinks it’s an urge. I am not nescesarily hungry I just have the urge to eat whatever I have to urge for at that time. Ok, well I won’t rant anylonger. Remember, “What you do today may inspire someone tomorrow”.
Love that saying it’s true to heart and remember I’m looking at what you do…SMILE! You can do it when that urge comes…exercise, sing, drink water lol I do everything but eat and when I do cheat its usually something on plan like nuts nut i eat a little more than usual! I have faith in you and why put off tomorrow what you can do today! Phase I of Southbeach is like induction Atkins exception no fat lean meats and less fat grilled chicken, fish, turkey, cheese, nuts sugar free jello come on Tanae you can do it!! All the best to you. I started 4 weeks ago and down 21 pounds so it does work and alot healthier than Atkins. I absolutely love Southbeach it’s not like a diet at all but a new way of living for me!!! There are plenty of experts on here to help you SHANNA, Tasha and me Smile! All the best to you my buddy~
Although you’ve had some slip ups…You’ve still done really well…10lbs in 3 weeks is nothing to feel down about…You’re still losing faster than “average” so, you should be proud of your accomplishments:)…Keep your head and stay positive!..I think you’re doing an amazing job!

ONLY 10 pounds in 3 weeks??? I haven’t lost 3 pounds in a week in a long time. So you must be doing something right. I did when I started, but it is definatley slowing down. I guess I will have to look into this SouthBeach diet. From what I hear around this place it seems to help.
Can you read my future?? LOL!! Thanks for sharing your Halloween horror story with me!! Did you know Halloween falls on a Friday this year? Maybe your hubby and you can leave the kids and go out on the town! That’s what I plan on doing, which is why I’m motivated! LOL!!
Ok. About these so-called “urges” STOP IT…you’ve done so well. I know what you mean, I’m starting SB on Monday and I figured that I can do indulging this weekend…but seriously, does that even make sense? I can understand a piece of something here and there…the problem is that if we could really STOP at a piece here and there, we wouldn’t have this problem now would we?
The bottom line is we have to stick to our guns and not tempt our inner fatties! LOL!! They don’t know how to behave! LOL!
Yep we all fall down but we get back up. As long as you keep trying you will keep losing the weight, you have come tooooo far to turn around now. Monday will be the first day of a new you.
