100TH BLOG!

Well, this is my 100th blog.  I missed two days and this time it wasn’t because I messed up I was just too tired.  I went to weigh in yesterday and lost the six pounds I gained plus another.  I guess my buddies were right it was water retention.  Thanks scott for being so positive.  So really I am only congratulating myself on losing 1 pound!  The funny part is that I feel like I deserve a congratulations.  I am eating healthy and making good choices.  I never thought I would do this type of lifestyle but thank God I am able to do it.My eating has been good I ate a small slice of cake and a small scoop of ice cream and I am not guilt ridden.  It was my moms; b-day and I ate that instead of torturing myself by not eating it and then binging out on it.  I felt I had more control.  Well, I’m off to work  I will be back to blog again. 

Today

 I really don’t have much to say. I ate really well.  I wasn’t very hungry Itoday.  Thank God!  I didn’t have to work today. I must say My energy level is at it’s lowest.  I need to get some vitamins I’ll have to research the best kind.  Well, here’s what I ate today

D- 4 ozs chkn breast on a whole wheat tortilla with a tsp of low fat sour cream 2 tbsp of salsa, lettuce, tomato and 2 ozs of cheese. YUMMY! I put it in the oven to crisp the shell a little and to melt the cheese and then put on my fresh toppings.  It was MM MM good!  Ok, I guess you get the point it was good.LOL.  I have to go weigh in tomorrow so wish me luck!

NO GYM

Well, I didn’t make it to the gyn today.  I came home from work and went to sleep.  By the time I woke up it was time for me to go back to work.  I didn’t exercise.  I am going to do my tape and I will update this blog rather I did or not.   I ate good today.  I am really proud of myself.  I am really learning that this is a lifestyle and once I learn that, I will feel better.  I was watching Oprah one day and Dr.  Oz was saying that the fat in our bodies shrink but never go  away and they are just waiting to be fed. That’s why the weight is so easy to come back.  How disappointing is that. Oh, I forgot to tell you that when I went to weigh in at lawl yesterday, the lady didn’t even tell me it was probably water retention she just tried to sell me some excel vitamins that cost $89!!!!!!!!  Can you believe that??  I told her no and I would just have to work off those extra pounds and she really insisted that I needed  those supplements.  She thought I was going to be desperate because the scale showed a 6 lb gain.  No way!  Well, sorry for venting about them, again!  I have a love hate relationship with them.  I love that they are teaching me the correct way to eat but their sales tactics is getting on my nerves.  Well, here’s what I ate today..

GOING TO THE GYM TODAY!

I am going to the gym today.  I really don’y want to but I have to start getting in a complete workout.  I don’t like them measuring me and I don;t even like them personally training me.  Isn’t that horrible.  They are nice enough to give me a trainer but I would rather go in and do what I want to do.  I know, I know.  But that’s the way I feel.

Fell off the wagon

I don’t know if you noticed that I haven’t blogged, well that’s because I really went on a eating frenzy.  I am back on track today but my goodness I gained 6 pounds over the weekend.  Is that possible.  Well, I went to lawl and got on the scale and it showed a 6 pound gain!  Wow!  I was so embarassed I didn’t know what to do.  I wasn’t suppose to go until tomorrow but I wanted to go as soon as possible.  I knew that I would be ashamed. How can a human being gain 6 lbs in 3 days???  You don’t have to answer that. I know,  I did it!  LOL!   I know it’s not funny but I have to laugh somehow.  Well, here’s what I ate today

D- salad- 3 cups of lettuce, bell pepper, 1/2 cuke, 30 grapes sliced and 4 cherry tomatos and sunflower seeds

S- slice of fat free wheat bread with a teasp of peanut butter

 I ate so many grapes on my salad because I needed to get in my servings of fruits for the day. I hope I did good. 

GOOD DAY!

Today was a good day.  Not that I accomplished too much of anything but it was still a good day.  I woke up early (my day off) and went to work for about 2 hours, took care of some personal business and came home and took a 4 hour nap!  I don’t feel guilty!  I woke up energized and went grocery shopping.  It’s amazing how much more you have to shop because everything is fresh.  I  took Cathy’s advice and stayed in the kitchen while I cooked it worked out pretty good. LOL  My son is really fighting me all the way with my dinners but I guess he’ll learn to like them just like all of us.  I am not cooking two different meals a night hopefully his tastes will change according to the new way I season and cook my food.  Well, wish me luck tomorrow with my weigh in and here’s my food for the day.

I bought a pop from the store but it’s  hard to drink anything else when I have to drink so much water for the day. Good night all and Char I am going to freeze this meal in serving sizes so that I can have it anytime I want.  I don’t think my family will want leftovers for tomorrow.

HUNGRY ALL DAY LONG!

Hello all! Well, today was difficult.  I was hungry all day long!  I just ate a good size salad and guess what I have a hungry feeling in my stomach. Aunt Flo is here and I’m guessing that has a lot to do with it.  I am not craving anything but I am just feeling hungry.  I don’t know what to do.  I have my weighin on thurs and I want to drop some pounds since I protested getting their protein bars.(LAWL)  I don’t want them to be able to say that’s the reason I didn’t lose the weight.  I hope I don’t retain too much water.  Well, here goes my food journaling, and I didn’t get any exercise in I worked from 9-9 by myself, all day with no break!  I guess I was in a little pity party for second but here goes:

FOOD

Food, all I thought about today was food.  I didn’t get all of my food in again.  I am having the hardest time fitting in all of my food for the day.  I didn’t have time to cook.  I ate too much fast food today.  I would’ve rather had a fresh salad for lunch.  My work schedule is horrible so I went ahead and got then next best thing before I made really bad decisions. I’m still working on my water not even 32 ozs yet.  I have alot of drinking to do so I guess I better get started I hear my kids goin’ at it upstairs so I better go.  Check back in later.

Dinner Disaster

Ok, guys I tried to cook some cabbage (sauteed) with some leftover chicken.  It was not good.  I couldn’t eat my whole 8 ozs of chicken.  I bought more seasonings which should make it easier seasoning my food so that it’s easy on my pallet.  I am going to start journaling my food daily with my blog as one of my goals.  I am going to do my exercise tape daily and walk atleast 3 time a week.  I really have to make sure that I am eating enough to burn fat.  This will be something I am going to work really hard at this week.

GREAT EFFORT!

Yesterday I tried cooking some ckn breast and string beans. The ckn breast were dry and the Mrs, Dash seasoning was horrible and  I  BURNED the beans! What else could’ve gone wrong.  Dinner today was horrible.  I tried the skillet sensations and it was mushy and nasty.  I don’t know.  I am going to have to find some meals that I like or it is going to get tempting for me to try to eat something I don’t need.  I had all my water today and got in a small walk. Well, I hope everything is fine  have a good night!
