DECISION TIME!

I have to make a decision and I need all of you guys help.  I have mentioned this before, but I really am at a crossroad.  I don’t know if I want to stick with the atkins because it’s so hard.  Now, I know every other plan is going to be hard too, but I wonder if it’ll be less of a battle with the carbs.  I don’t know if I’m just bowing out because it’s really rough right now or what but I talked to my husband aobut it and he’s been trying to get me to try la weight loss.  It’s expensive.  I don’t know how it works but if I switched it would be between lawl or ww.  Could someone please let me know how each program works.  The pros and cons.  Thanks buddies!

When I first signed up with buddySlim I was also told about www.sparkpeople.com which is a really great site it has food tracking, and suggested menu’s like a diet program but it’s FREE it also has support, you weight and measure. You might check it out its all on line so there is no place to go to a meeting.

A couple of years ago I lost weight with ediets.com that is on the computer (a paid support system) It worked for me then, there were lots of different diets to choose from according to your lifestyle. You weighed in every week and they made goals for your weight loss. They sent you your a menu every week, but you could make changes on it. As for now I have a list of diet exchange such as a diabetic uses and I try to follow that without a fixed menu. I am also trying to use sparkpeople to help me with food choices it is a great resource.

I don’t know anything about LAWL or WW but you can lose weight without having to do Atkins, there’s a lot of good eating plans out there.

In fact, I’ve read at least 10 different books - not because I’m looking for the 1 and only solution, but because I get bored easily.

Before I did Atkins I did W.W. and it really does work! It’s a great way to eat what ever you want and still lose weight. You can even count your points for a Doughnut!!!…As long as you stay within your point range you will lose weight…I switched to Atkins b/c I need something strict to keep me in check…I’ve never done L.A.W.L but, I’ve heard good things from other people…I think either one will be good for you:-)…Have A Great Weekend and..

Hey I’m back. Have you thought about trying South Beach? I use some of there meals with Atkins and they are really good. I like their low-carb wraps. They have pizza now and a lot of other good meals. Of course you don’t have to use the prepared meals. Also Suzanne Somers has a good program that allows carbs. I do better with Atkins because I need to just cut out the carbs and I feel a lot better. I haven’t done well this week. I finished my child development class and we had a big potluck. The calories weren’t too bad but ate a lot of carbs. Maybe for you just counting calories and watching the sugar intake would work. There are so many different ways to go and I know you can find one that works for you. Don’t get discouraged you are obviously ready to lose the weight, you just need to find what works best for you. I know you can do it.

I don’t know anything about either plan and I don’t do well with plans or too much structure.
